Not all our clients want to go to a Tribunal. A lot of what we do, every day, is to prevent issues or disputes from escalating and we try to solve the problem early. Many employees do wish to carry on working for their employers. Others don’t but want a confidential settlement. Our personal client work is aimed at a quick and cost effective solution because we understand the worry and stress involved in an employment problem. If we are asked to take claims to a Tribunal we will still manage the case throughout the process to try to achieve an early solution. We regularly appear in the Employment Tribunal and will work at supporting you through this process where it cannot be avoided.

We guide our clients through the processes and the emotional difficulties involved in an employment dispute, without making things unnecessarily complicated. In the last 12 months the team’s work has covered all aspects of employment law from helping you to understand and negotiate your contract, particularly at senior executive level through the issues which can arise during a contract such as discrimination, pay and bonus issues, disciplinary and grievance hearings, dealing with Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (TUPE) issues if your employer’s business is sold through to the ending of the employment relationship through redundancy, dismissal, long term sickness or stress and usually in those cases involving a compromise or Settlement Agreement or if appropriate a Tribunal hearing.
