Industrial Diseases

Our specialist team of industrial disease litigators has experience in all types of work place diseases and claims including:

(The Government’s Pleural Plaques Former Claimants Payment Scheme is open for applications as of 2 August 2010. Details about eligibility for the scheme and how to apply are available by clicking here.)

The team has successfully established itself at the forefront of the developing law in industrial diseases. We act on behalf of several large groups of claimants in the Textiles and Tobacco industries, and in the past several of our team have acted for groups of successful claimants in Sheffield Steel Foundries with multiple causes of injury.

We are committed to providing a full service to our clients which extends beyond a simple compensation payout for general damages. Where possible, we are able to assist with claims for additional items such as digital ‘In the Ear’ hearing aids, and tinnitus masking devices in Noise Induced Hearing Loss claims which help to improve a person’s quality of life. We are also able to assist with claims for Industrial Injuries Compensation Benefits and in establishing Personal Injury Trusts.

We are able to advise and provide all methods of funding and insurance cover as appropriate after an assessment of individual demands and needs, and we offer a free initial assessment.

We are assisted by the UK’s leading QCs, barristers and experts, and our team contributes articles and speakers to various specialist forums across the country. The publications can be found on our Downloads page.

All of our team are members of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
