Rosie graduated from University of Leicester with a first-class honours degree in History BA in 2021. She then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law in Sheffield, and obtained a commendation in 2022. She continued her studies in Sheffield, completing the LLM Legal Practice Course and obtaining a distinction in 2023.
After previously working as a paralegal, Rosie joined Wake Smith as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2025 and she is currently seated in the Clinical Negligence team following her first seat with our Residential Conveyancing team.
Main Areas of Work:
Rosie currently supports the team with clinical negligence claims, including birth injury, orthopaedic injury and pressure sore cases, including:
- Assisting with new enquiries and early case assessment
- Drafting key documents, including Letters of Claim and letters of instruction to medical and costs experts
- Working closely with Counsel and medical experts, including attending conferences
- Taking witness statements and reviewing expert medical evidence
- Assisting with client advice and case progression under supervision
