Education:
Scott graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a first class honours in law in 2009. He went on to complete his post-graduate studies at The University of Sheffield thereafter.
He has specialised in Medical Negligence since 2010 when he started work as a Paralegal at a local South Yorkshire Law Firm. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2012 and has continued to practise in Medical Negligence since.

Great / Notable achievements at Wake Smith:
- Succeeding in a claim under the Human Rights Act 1998 against Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust following a patient’s death in hospital.
- Recovered £95,000 in a claim against Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust following two unsuccessful attempts to repair a fractured leg.
- Agreed an Out of Court settlement in a claim against North Bristol NHS Trust after a patient’s back was fractured whilst he was under a general anaesthetic for the purposes of performing an MRI scan.
- Successfully claimed over £1million in compensation for a delay in diagnosis of mouth cancer.
- Recovered compensation for the family of a patient who passed away after choking on food served to her in hospital.
- Obtained compensation for a man who fell and fractured his leg whist being assessed by paramedics from North West Ambulance Service.
