The country continues with COVID–19 pandemic lockdown measures.
We are continuing with a proactive plan to protect employees, suppliers, clients and the business from potential exposure to the virus and to mitigate the threat from the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
This plan is being continually reviewed as the situation develops.
As per the Government’s guidance, all of our employees, who are able to do so, are now working from home. A very small number of operational functions that cannot currently be performed remotely, are being carried out by a skeleton staff in the office.
Those staff working from home with laptops can be contacted by phone and email in the usual way. If you need to speak to a member of staff and do not have their details, please look on the website under ‘Our People’ for their direct contact details or call the office on 0114 266 6660. Emailing firstname.lastname@example.org is also available.
This situation created exceptional circumstances and we are keen to impress, upon existing and prospective clients, that we are here to offer crucial legal support, for companies and individuals who are faced with continuing uncertainty.
It is our intention, as far as possible, to maintain business continuity and normal levels of communication with our clients at all times.
Following the Government’s advice, we are:
Operating a skeleton staff in the office with nearly all other employees working from home.
Not undertaking any non-essential travel.
Using technology, wherever possible, in all communications. We can use different types of electronic communication including video and audio conferencing, secure data portals and email.
Not conducting face to face meetings, except in highly exceptional circumstances.
Keeping clients updated on Court hearing dates or telephone hearing dates, as and when we receive communication from the Courts.
Continually reviewing our working practices to use our resources to support each other if needed. In the event of illness or inability to work, we will look to prioritise urgent workloads and keep clients updated, mitigating the impact for our clients. Please be assured we will seek to ensure that any disruption is minimised.
Seeking to take all reasonable measures in line with ongoing Government guidance to ensure that our employees' safety and health is assured.
Updating clients on our operational plan when necessary.
We will continue to take proactive steps to minimise the spread of COVID-19 and keep our employees and clients safe, whilst trying to ensure that our service levels do not dip below our normal excellent standard and our clients' expectations.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility at this time and hope you understand the reasons for this communication and the changes being put in place.
