The current COVID–19 pandemic is causing significant issues for businesses around the world, with the disruption to UK commerce and industry escalating on a daily basis.
In order to mitigate the threat from the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we have implemented a proactive plan to protect employees, suppliers, customers and the business from potential exposure to the virus. This plan is being constantly reviewed as the situation develops.
Following the Government’s instructions issued on Monday 23 March, all of our employees who are able to do so are now working from home. There are a very small number of operational functions that cannot, currently, be performed remotely. Where this is the case, we are maintaining a skeleton staff in the office provided that this remains viable in light of Government instructions and employee wellbeing. We are also working on solutions to enable those functions to be performed remotely.
We wish to reassure you that our intention is, as far as possible, to maintain business continuity and normal levels of communication with our clients at all times. We are still taking new instructions.
However, this is an unprecedented time and it is possible that our high standards of service may be affected, should the reach of the pandemic worsen.
Following the Government’s latest ruling we are:
Staff working from home with laptops can be contacted by phone and email in the usual way. If you need to speak to a member of staff and do not have their details, please look on the website under ‘Our People’ for their direct contact details or call the office on 0114 266 6660. Emailing firstname.lastname@example.org is also available.
We will continue to take proportionate, proactive steps to minimise the spread of COVID-19 and keep our employees and clients safe, whilst trying to ensure that our service levels do not dip below our normal excellent standard and our clients' expectations.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility at this time and hope you understand the reasons for this communication and the temporary changes being put in place.
