All Floors UK Limited, a Pontefract family business, headed up by husband and wife team Donna and Chris Caulton, has purchased a new 11,500 sq ft unit on Langthwaite Grange Industrial Estate – not far from their current base in South Elmsall.

The new warehousing unit, formerly Whittaker Carpets, once fully refurbished, will create greater showroom, storage and office space for the successful flooring retailer which currently employs 32 staff.

Sheffield’s Wake Smith Solicitors acted for the purchasers with HSBC providing the funding.

All Floors UK Limited director Donna Caulton said: “All Floors is a family business that has gone from strength to strength. Collectively, we have more than 50 years knowledge and experience in the flooring industry and have built up an excellent reputation for service, quality workmanship and extremely competitive prices.

“Our positive experience serving residential customers has allowed us to progress onto larger projects and we have been successful in winning large commercial contracts, which has seen us outgrow our current premises and require us to operate from a larger base.

“The new unit, once substantially refurbished, will allow us to improve our residential flooring offering and satisfy new commercial work and further growth plans we have, combined with continuing our high standards of customer service.

“There could be potential jobs in the pipeline and therefore mean increasing the number of employees to 40.”
