Wake Smith is celebrating achieving two national accolades for highly-efficient working practices and excellent client service.
Wake Smith's Lexcel accreditation has been renewed for the thirteenth year running by The Law Society, recognising the highest standards of legal practice and client care.
Ten particular areas of good practice were noted during the assessment including structure and strategy such as vision, growth strategy, people and culture and key client programme; comprehensive business continuity plan; charitable activities; IT; risk management; client care and file and case management.
Wake Smith was also further endorsed by The Law Society with the renewal of its Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), a recognised quality standard for SRA-regulated firms in residential conveyancing. It confirms expected standards of competence, risk management and client service levels designed to benefit practices, consumers and clients.
Paul Gibbon, co-Managing Director at Wake Smith, said: “These are fantastic achievements. They confirm the true commitment and dedication year on year by all our employees to provide the best, quality in service and practices.
“These accreditations also mean our clients can be assured we are managing the firm using best practice, efficiently and with their interests at the forefront.”
Wake Smith was first awarded Lexcel in 2013 and remains committed to maintaining high levels of compliance in line with the quality standard. It has retained the CQS standard since 2012.
This year, Wake Smith, which employs 40 fee earners and provides legal services for businesses and individuals, was also awarded the internationally recognised Gold Investors in People accreditation which sets the standard for people management for the first time in its history.
